Certain men in the New Testament, such as Philip and Timothy, were identified as "evangelist". An evangelist is someone who acts as an announcer of salvation, a bearer of good news, in our case, the good news of Jesus Christ. These men were also referred to as "ministers" because of the work of service they did on the behalf of others.
We are excited that Buc Chumley and his family will be moving to Hueytown in the near future to begin working with us as a full time evangelist and minister. We welcome him as he joins us in our effort to carry the gospel into our homes, communities, and all the world.
