Steve Wilsher

Steve is an elder with the congregation that meets in Fultondale and he needs our prayers. He had successful surgery on Thursday, Nov. 12th for a brain tumor. I have been in touch with Keith Stoneheart regarding Brother Wilshur and received this follow up: The pathology results are in and there is a much longer and complicated name for it, but it’s basically brain cancer. It’s not a tumor or growth that could be cut off - but essentially the brain tissue itself is becoming cancer at the cellular level. As of right now , the treatment plan will be chemo and radiation - but to what end is still uncertain... We are asking everyone to continue to pray for Steve.

Brethren With COVID

There are brethren we know from other congregations who are suffering with COVID. Please keep them in your prayers:

Dan Knowles

Bill Hall

James Kimbrel

James, Ginger Kelley's brother, has been suffering with COVID 19 for 3 weeks now. He continues to experience low oxygen, fatigue, and brain fog. If his oxygen numbers continue to drop, he will be hospitalized. Please keep James and his family in prayer.

Judy Bonham

Judy, who is the mother of Tammy Bailey, Ed and Jeny's neighbor, fell and broke her hip. Her hip has been repaired and she is now in Lakeshore Rehab Room #240. The address for cards is: 3800 Ridgeway Drive, B'ham 35209

Many from our community know Judy and our prayers for pain relief and healing are coveted and appreciated.
