Modern day religion is one that shies away from speaking about the wrath of God.

  • People don't like to hear about an angry God, we are more accustomed and receptive to hearing about a loving God.
  • We need to learn about God as He has presented Himself to mankind: and He has presented Himself as a God who loves the world so much that He gave His only Begotten Son...
  • But He also expects us to obey Him or else face the consequences
    • John 3:16, 36
